Cowboys in Kosovo 24 minutes
director: Corinne van EgeraatNetherlands
In Yugoslavia, American westerns were endlessly repeated on television. Four Kosovo friends used to play cowboy, like so many children everywhere - in a landscape that seems to come right out of those films. At the start of the war one of the four friends fled to the Netherlands, one fought in the Kosovo Liberation Army and two others escaped from torture in captivity. Now they return to talk about the war.
